I did find a way to get it back on. There is a square hole with a hook facing the outside of the printer which I hooked the hole on the strip through. Used alcohol.I unplugged all wires where I could see that they unplug and plugged them back in. Reply jon says: 2007-02-20 at 7:44 pm incredible.

It seems that a "no ink" error trumps 0502, and makes the machine forget it was trying to drive you mad. Seeing from this board how it was related to the print heads, I decided to give them a look. A quick wipe and away it went! I cleaned out the seats where the cartridges sit when the printer gets turned off.
Was about to throw the printer away and get a new one. Any aftermarket parts?
