it dropped on the ground on top of the lens and the camera completely shut off and the lens is now halfway extended outward and it doesnt let the camera go you'll come short. it is working again. The LCD display sucks up a lot of power, so by not having the LCD display turn on, more battery power will be available to help power up the lens.
